Backups: incremental, verified, off-site
Daily incremental backups to a cloud bucket the agency controls (never only the host’s backups), with automatic verification and a pre-update snapshot before anything changes. Restore time is the metric that matters — rehearse it.
Updates: staged, then automatic
Minor core and plugin updates run automatically overnight with a snapshot taken first. Major updates go through a staging clone with a visual regression check. The rule: no human touches an update that a snapshot can safely automate.
Monitoring: know before the client does
